GranGala®
GranGala (pronounced [gran-ga-la]) is a widely advertised, promoted and positioned brand known as Italy’s Answer to Grand Marnier™. It is blended with 3 of the choicest oranges from Sicily and Imported Italian Stock ‘84 VSOP Brandy. GranGala is 40% alcohol by volume, 80 proof, and is enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or as a key ingredient in many popular cocktails such as the Margarita and Cosmopolitan. It is also enjoyed in gourmet recipes and desserts.

GranGala Tasting Notes Country of Origin: Italy Alcohol Content: 40% by Volume, 80 Proof Oranges: Made from 3 of the choicest oranges from Sicily: - Tarocco - Bionda - Rossa Blending Process: Sicilian oranges are blended together with Imported Stock ’84 VSOP Brandy Color: Deep Copper Bouquet: Rich, orange marmalade, cocoa and spice Body: Smooth, velvety entry leads to a fruity, sweet, full-bodied palate Taste: Rich array of orange peel, brown spice and cocoa elements balanced by a gently warming blend of brandy flavor Finish: Smooth, long and refreshing with a graceful brush of peppery spice
Taste Test
- Imported GranGala® Triple Orange Liqueur was judged superior to Grand Marnier®, Cointreau® and other premium orange liqueurs, scoring 94 points vs. Grand Marnier’s 86 points, and Cointreau’s 84 points, in an expert Margarita taste test conducted by experts at the **Beverage Testing Institute, Chicago, IL, 2002. Of all premium orange liqueurs tested, Imported GranGala was also voted best for smoothness, and more orange flavor.
Cocktail Recipes Imported GranGala Triple Orange Liqueur is a key ingredient in these popular cocktail recipes:
Ultimate Margarita 1 oz. Imported GranGala® Triple Orange Liqueur 1 oz. Ultra Premium El Charro Silver Tequila 1 oz. Fresh lime juice Coarse salt Wedge of lime Rub rim of Margarita glass with lime and spin in salt. Shake Imported GranGala Triple Orange Liqueur, tequila and lime juice together with ice in shaker. Strain into Margarita glass, and garnish with lime wedge.
Ultimate Cosmopolitan 1 oz. Imported GranGala® Triple Orange Liqueur 2 oz. Premium Vodka 1 oz. Fresh Lime Juice 4 oz. Cranberry Juice Combine ingredients into shaker filled with ice and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with orange or lime peel.
Company History STOCK S.p.A. was established in 1884, by the company’s founder, Lionello Stock, when he was only 18 years old. The company survived World Wars I and II, to become a leading global spirits company.
