Talk:Graduate Centre for the Study of Culture (GCSC)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The GCSC is a respected center of excellence of the University of Giessen, that was chosen as one of the leading centers of education in cultural studies in Germany. The Centre neither sells nor buys anything, nor charges tuition or does anythingmore than offer serious education. I kindly ask you not to remove this page! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dhi2cr (talk • contribs) May 29, 2008
- I removed the deletion request, but please read before posting, Wikipedia:Verifiability, wikipedia need facts, not opinions. --Triwbe (talk) 11:46, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for the hint. However, the GCSC was selected and chosen as centre of excellence by the German Federal Government's Ministry of Education and all information about the GCSC can also be found in official government documents which in some instances were cited. I will add more references if this is the problem. Nothing in the article is a claim. Everything is based on facts. Let me know what needs to be altered in respect to the other complaints about the article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.17.206.178 (talk) 12:22, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
- OK I will be more specific, WP:PROVEIT. We need references. --Triwbe (talk) 12:26, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
That is no problem! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dhi2cr (talk • contribs) 12:39, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
Ok. References are added. I agree that the article still needs some new wording but what about the other claims that refer to the author's attitude? I do certainly not have any issues with the GCSC. All I intended was to make information about an excellent educational institution available beyond a German audience. Any hints how to proceed with altering the article? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dhi2cr (talk • contribs) 15:25, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
