Whitney recorded a disco single based on Star Trek at one point, as well as a few albums. These should probably be mentioned though I have no information on the single except it was called "Disco Trekkin'" and apparently ranks somewhere between Shatner's "Transformed Man" and Nimoy's "Ballad of Bilbo Baggins" ... 23skidoo 04:39, 15 May 2006 (UTC)

I changed the section which read

to read

Her autobiography is entitled The Longest Trek: My Tour of the Galaxy (1998) (ISBN 1-884956-05-X). The book delves into her hiring and firing from Star Trek and her fight and eventual victory over alcohol and [[recreational drug use|drug use]], particularly marijuana.

because marijuana is not addictive. The link pointed to "drug addiction," but now points to "recreational drug use," which I feel is an acceptable compromise.
