[edit] Proposed Merger
I have placed merger tags on a number of character articles. Rather than repeat the reasoning on each talk page I have set out the full argument here. Please feel free to leave comments either on this talk page or at the WikiProject. I want to try and start a debate about the whole way in which Emmerdale information is provided on Wikipedia--Amxitsa 21:20, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
Grace Barraclough is far from a minor character because of her involvement in the biggest murder investigation/storyline in Emmerdale history. Jameshdl 13:40, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Proposed deletion & blog
I proposed deletion only because I couldn't think of a better way of dealing with an article that is grossly unencyclopedic. The article is nothing more than republishing the contents of another website. It's copyvio and worse. I'm not sure how to categorize this, or deal with it. I figured proposed deletion will at least attract the attention of other editors, and deletion is one legitimate way of dealing with such a problem. --Ronz 18:15, 22 April 2007 (UTC)
- I'm going to remove the prod, and delete the blog section as copyright violation. --Ronz 18:17, 22 April 2007 (UTC)
- I must object to a proposed deletion. I've no problem with getting rid of the detailed blog as there already is an external link. But the character should remain as she's the lead detective in the biggest murder investigation in Emmerdale's history. Jameshdl 09:10, 23 April 2007 (UTC)
- Exactly why I removed the prod - I assume that sources indicating notability could be easily found. --Ronz 16:42, 23 April 2007 (UTC)
