Description

Stained glass window in the en:Cedar Rapids, Iowa Veteran's Memorial. Text on the base plaque reads:

This window, dedicated in 1955, honors the sacred memory of the men and women who unselfishly gave their lives in defense of our country.
Designed by Grant wood (1892–1942)– Cedar Rapids' noted artist – and executed under his personal supervision in Munich, Germany.

Taken by clarknova in fall of 2003.
