Gravity Pilates is a physical fitness system of exercises emphasizing gravity as the force of resistance.
Both mat and machine are used in this variety of Pilates. For machine exercises, the GTS, a gravity-training device that encourages functional exercise by using an individual's body weight as resistance, is used. It includes an adjustable free-motion glideboard and a set of pulleys. The apparatus claims to activate all major muscle groups when used optimally. Strength, stretching and endurance are all trained.
