Volume 3 is the third in a series of live digital downloads of the band the Grateful Dead released by The Grateful Dead Productions. It was released on July 5, 2005. The two disc, complete show was recorded on October 26, 1971 and was the fifth show with new band member Keith Godchaux on keyboards. He was enacted as a member because of the failing health of Ron "Pigpen" McKernan, which was due to alcohol abuse.
Volume 3 was mastered in HDCD by Jeffrey Norman.
