Grant Township is located in Vermilion County, Illinois. The population was 6,672 at the 2000 census.

Grant Township covers an area of 87 square miles and contains the village of Hoopeston and the unincorporated town of Cheneyville. According to the USGS, it contains one cemetery, Redtop.
