Grant Sawyer Middle School is a middle school located in Las Vegas, Nevada which educates grades six through eight. The school first opened in 1993.
The school enrolls approximately 2,000 students annually, near triple that of the state average and double the school district average. The school principal is Kim Friel. Every morning, in the students' homeroom, they will watch a short news coverage called K-STANG. It covers news going on in the school. The school's colors are gold and purple, while the school's mascot is a mustang named Spirit. Kids who do well at Grant Sawyer Middle School receive the golden horseshoe award.
