Grant Lauchlan

Grant Lauchlan is a reporter on STV's news programmes, Scotland Today and The Five Thirty Show.

He previously produced and presented the film show Moviejuice with Sarah Heaney for STV.

After studying Film and Media at Stirling University, his first television job was as a weather presenter on American television. He also worked for Radio Clyde as a news reporter before moving in to television.

He started working as an assistant producer for STV's digital channel S2 in 1998. Grant began working for Scotland Today in 2000 as a film critic. After S2 closed down, he was moved to working full-time in the newsroom as a journalist, taking time out over the years to produce Moviejuice.

Grant has interviewed Halle Berry, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jim Carrey, Julie Andrews, Uma Thurman, Sigourney Weaver.
