Grant David Elliott (b. 21 March 1979 in Johannesburg) is a South African cricketer who played for the Wellington Firebirds and is an all-rounder. In 2007 he qualified to play in New Zealand and was called up to the national team in early 2008 during England's tour. He will make his Test debut against England to replace Jacob Oram.[1]
On day one of play, he managed to keep the runs down, like Jacob Oram did. He also caught and bowled Ian Bell for 9, and then caught Paul Collingwood out from Jeetan Patel's delivery.
