Granrudmoen

Granrudmoen (also referred to as Øyer Sør) is the biggest population cluster in Øyer municipality, Oppland county, Norway. Its population (SSB 2005) is 1,687.
Granrudmoen is located close to 1994 Olympic venues Hafjell and Hunderfossen.

The first element is the name of the small farm Granrud ('the clearing among the spruces'), the last element is the finite form of mo m 'moor, heath'.
