Grange Hill was a video game made for 8-bit computers including the Commodore 64, Sinclair ZX Spectrum and Amstrad CPC[3]. It was based on Grange Hill, a popular children's television show.
The music was done by David Whittaker[2], but did not include the TV show's theme tune.
The game's protagonist was Luke "Gonch" Gardener, with Paul "Hollo" Holloway as an assistant (see the list of pupils in Grange Hill). The object of the game is to retrieve Gonch's personal stereo from the school after hours, which his teacher confiscated.
The game was coded by Michael Delves[2]. It was made by Bug-Byte[1], which is a brand owned by Argus Press PLC[4].
