Grandate is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Como in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 35 kilometres (22 mi) north of Milan and about 4 kilometres (2 mi) southwest of Como. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,905 and an area of 2.8 km².[1]
Grandate borders the following municipalities: Casnate con Bernate, Como, Luisago, Montano Lucino, Villa Guardia.
