Grand Prix de Vichy

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Grand Prix de Vichy is a Group 3 flat horse race in France for three-year-old and above thoroughbreds. It is run over a distance of 2,000 metres (approximately 1 mile 2 furlongs) at Vichy Racecourse in July.

It was first run in 1875, and was a handicap race until 1899. The race distance has been modified many times, most recently in 1992, before which it had been run at 2,400m.
