The Grand Illusion Cinema is the oldest continually running independent movie theatre in Seattle, Washington in the United States of America. Located near the University of Washington at the corner of N.E. 50th Street and University Way N.E., the theater used to be a dentist's office and has 70 seats. The Grand Illusion shows a wide variety of films ranging from international and independent productions to a large assortment of classic films. The theater also frequently has late-night screenings and has shown Frank Capra's It's a Wonderful Life every December for nearly 35 years.
