Grand Erg Oriental

The Grand Erg Oriental (also known as the Great Eastern Erg) is an erg in Algeria. It is the largest erg in Algeria and the second largest unbroken expanse of sand in the Sahara, after the Libyan Desert. The Grand Erg Oriental extends into neighboring Tunisia.[1]
