A street in Norfolk, Virginia. This street is the historic commercial corridor of Norfolk, and also the community heart of the city, has been undergoing major redevelopment for the past five years. Today, theatres, restaurants, and businesses line Granby street in the downtown area. The street spans from its historic downtown along the Elizabeth river north to the Chesapeake Bay where it ends at the Ocean View neighborhood.
Notorious in the 1970s for its drug usage and prostitution, Granby Street has since become a popular nighttime destination.
