From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Grammy Award for Best Rap Song was first awarded in 2004. It is a songwriting award given to all who wrote the lyrics and music of the song. If the song contains a sample of another song, the songwriter(s) of the sampled song are not nominated/awarded.
