Graeme Kirkland

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Graeme Kirkland was a producer, composer, musician, and performance artist during the late 1980s and 1990s. He is probably best known for his street drumming using overturned buckets and other available surfaces for his performance.[1] After his musical career, he became a financial adviser.[2]

Kirkland was a popular performer in Toronto, Ontario consistently being voted "Best Drummer" by NOW Magazine's readers for 6 years (1996 – 2001)[3][citation needed] in their annual Reader's Poll. The runner-up in each of these 6 years was the famous Canadian drummer, Neil Peart of Rush.
