[edit] Undergrads

Got your message. I am glad you used my Roswell pages as an example to help with your Clone High pages (loved that show as well). As for the Undergrads articles, over the next 24-48 hours I will make an article for the Pilot episode. From that basic framework, I will make barebones articles for the other 11 articles (minus the lengthier synposis and trivia/quotes sections) for people to add to when they can. Any questions, comments, suggestions, let me know. Otherwise, check out User:Moeron/Sandbox01 sometime soon for my pre-posting edit of the page. Cheers! --MOE.RON talk | done | doing 03:01, 5 June 2006 (UTC)

RE:Response to message left on my page: Yeah, I figure we should leave the full cast in for this first episode, but each subsequent one can just be a section titled "Guest Stars" (a list of which can be found for each episode at the Undergrads listing at TV.com). I just finished up all I needed for the episode, so I am going to put into the actual article page now. I will be adding screenshots in the next few minutes as well. -- MOE.RON talk | done | doing 05:56, 6 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Screenshots

If you can play the video on your computer (legally, I hope) you can press the "Prnt Scrn" key to take a screen grab (it's better if you pause the video first). That copies the screenshot onto your clipboard. You can then paste it into the graphics editor of your choice, say Paint, and then crop it if necessary. Hope this helps. savidan(talk) (e@) 08:38, 5 June 2006 (UTC)

Please remember to sign all of your posts on talk pages. Typing four tildes after your comment ( ~~~~ ) will insert a signature showing your username and a date/time stamp, which is very helpful. Ardenn 22:38, 19 June 2006 (UTC)

I added that under the expection that the failed Miami/Chicago attack plot would get an article, and to separate them from actual attacks. CrazyC83 21:52, 23 June 2006 (UTC)

Much appreciated. --P-Chan 02:17, 9 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] JD/Elliot Scrubs

Thanks, Gpollock. I am aware that my section is long, which is why I origionally made it an article under the title 'J.D.-Elliot Relationship In Scrubs', but that is being deleted. Would it help if I removed the images? I have tried my best to skim it down, without sacrificing content too much. Bear in mind though that some of the episodes referenced do not have articles yet, so more detail may be neccesary on them. I will try to find sources and citations soon as evidence. But if it is still not enough, feel free to remove my section if you have to. EJB341

[edit] Mythology W:MEA

Yay! Glad there's someone else working on these :) Just so you know, I did some edits on the Y's about a half an hour ago -- nothing major, just verifying some blue links and adding notes to the ones that seem to still need work. Bookgrrl 21:53, 15 July 2006 (UTC)

Yowza -- look at you! The "Y" page looks awesome, that's a huge accomplishment :) Bookgrrl 03:10, 16 July 2006 (UTC)

Re your Inter-Wikiproject cooperation on W:MEA/Hotlist of Mythology — Excellent idea, so glad you thought of it. Bookgrrl 13:01, 16 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Olorun-Iansan

Are you sure Olorun and Iansan are equivalent? Olorun is a god of peace and harmony, while Iansan is a godess of wind and hurrcanes. - Qyd 22:45, 15 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Films archiving

a) create a new archive page, archive2 was last so Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Films/archive3 is next
b) open the current talk page and copy all talk, except where some discussion is still recent, say 2 weeks old and cut it, but don't save the page - leave it like that
c) paste it to Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Films/archive3 and add {{talkarchive}} on top and save the page
d) return to Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Films and edit the archive infobox by adding info about the new archive there, save the page

And You are done. feydey 22:11, 16 July 2006 (UTC)

I have done it now :) -feydey 22:34, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
I agree with your most recent comments on the Wikifilms project. We should strive for a fuctional template, as opposed to a very flashy one. The old, I think, is closer to that ideal. I support you. (Super busy right now, but will join the discussion later on tonight). Cheers Gpollock! --P-Chan 23:46, 16 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Quality and importance

Just like the rest of wiki anyone can say an article is any class or any importance.I can say john waters is the king of france and we should all eat mash potatos on president bush's article without being stopped. However it will get reverted. So for example if I rate revenge of the nerds top priority and A-class it will be reverted. I'd say 98% plus articles are rated correctly so the rating system is definately not pointless. The rating system will become more important with time when wiki has compiled an article for all movie and people need to see what's important and what needs work. Check out Wikipedia:Version 1.0 Editorial Team/Assessment to see what criteria to use when rating an article. I hope this helped. If it didn't i can explain further. Andman8 03:42, 18 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Scrubs/Trauma Center Pop-Culture Trivia

Thanks, Gpollock for the editing help as I am relatively new to wikipedia. I agree with your removal of the guest actor patient names although I put "Kevin" back in to "Kevin Turk" (but without a link to Kevin Casey) so that it would be consistent with the other full patient names on the list (i.e. Eric Dorian or Omar Flynn). Hope I'm doing things right! Integrity168 21:17, 18 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] License tagging for Image:Scrubs Soundtrack v1.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Scrubs Soundtrack v1.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 22:00, 26 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Scrubs in HD

Hey, there is no citation to give for this besides online forums; it can be determined by seeing that all Big Four network sitcoms were in HD last year, except for Scrubs, which converted in May. However, I was wrong about it being the last of all networks of any type of series so I switched it to just say Big Four and sitcom.

[edit] List of Scrubs episodes (screenshots)

Hi. I'm not sure if you noticed but they have been removed again. In hindsight I am amazed you felt you were in the right to replace them without first adding fair use rationales . Even now they still are without fairuse rationales! Mark83 15:10, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Clone High Episode 2 Promo 2.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Clone High Episode 2 Promo 2.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. [edit] Fair use rationale for Image:StormyMonday.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:StormyMonday.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 11:17, 6 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Scrubs broadcasters

Hi, as an editor regularly involved in the editing of scrubs related articles, would you please be willing to give yours views on the discussion over the list of scrubs broadcasters, see here Talk:Scrubs (TV series)#Removal of International Broadcasters section, thank you--Jac16888 19:22, 26 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] My Musical

This can get to FA once the number of brackets is cut, particularly in the intro, the reception is neutralised more, the images are given article-specific rationales and better captions; Also, the "Gonna Miss You, Carla" subsec and the Plot's start need expansion, since an FA must be fully informative. Good Luck! Vikrant Phadkay 15:34, 20 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Typo redirect Asp (disambiguation)

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Asp (disambiguation), by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Asp (disambiguation) is a redirect page resulting from an implausible typo (CSD R3).

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Asp (disambiguation), please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself.
