[edit] List of IEC Technical Committees

A tag has been placed on List of IEC Technical Committees, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the article and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. [edit] Speedy deletion

The reason I put up the deletion tag was because nothing was there. If you want to create an article, at least have a paragraph--or in this case, a few items--before you submit it. Thanks, Kannie | talk 17:26, 25 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] I am going slow

The speedy deletion in Wikipedia is crap. One spends hours to get a good topic, adds it and would like to spend some time doing it, gets this speedy deletion tag, which is actually an insult. I think the speedy deletion should be done for un-wanted content. If a content has potential, then Wikipedia, should help improve rather than delete it out-right, even if it is just a heading. Otherwise, the experts in areas will never contribute and Wikipedia will end up like a rolling stone gathers mass with no value in contents. Gp1973 (talk) 10:40, 27 December 2007 (UTC)

just make it again with more contents--people unfortunately do delete it this way. One place to ask for something to be done about it is at WT:Deletion policy, but I strongly advise you to first make an good article of it and get it to stick. DGG (talk) 17:59, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
