Gowran Park

Gowran Park is a horse race course in County Kilkenny, Ireland. It is located in the Annerly Estate near the town pf Gowran.The first meeting was held in 1914.[1]
The racecourse hosts 16 race days throughout the year with both National Hunt and Flat meetings. The Thyestes Chase starts the year in January with a steeplechases, the Thyestes, which has been won by three time Cheltenham Gold Cup Winner Arkle (1964) and Aintree Grand National winners Hedgehunter (2004) and Numbersixvalverde (2005).[2][3][4]
