Gowanstown is a community in Southwestern Ontario. It is a part of the town of North Perth in Perth County. It is located around the intersection of Perth Road 164 and Perth Line 88
The population of Gowanstown is 200 people, more or less. There is a public school in Gowanstown, as well as a municipal building and an Ice Cream shop which is open in the summer. Furthermore, there is a place to buy corn when corn is in season.
The social centre in Gowanstown is the post office. It is located inside a resident's home. This is a regular meeting place for the citizens of Gowanstown. It is a great place to have a chit chat about local politics as well as send a letter.
