[edit] Reunification

Surely the statement that Hong Kong was "reunified with the Peoples Republic of China" in 1997 is wrong. HK was reunified with China, but as HK was not in union with the Peoples Republic before it became British, it is incorrect to say that reunification took place with the PRC. As I am unaware of strength of opinion of this issue in HK, perhaps someone else can make the amendment if it is non controversial.

[edit] the use of "the"

I am afraid it would be wrong to place "the" in front of the word "Lord". We use "the Lord" to refer to God, but not a peer. Thus it is not necessary to call them "the Lord Wilson", "the Lord Patten", etc(for example: Lord North)--219.79.11.166 04:59, 25 June 2006 (UTC)
