The expansive City Hall Plaza occupies the central space. Behind the row of buildings behind City Hall is the old elevated Central Artery (green), which has since been demolished and moved underground as part of the Big Dig

That's a shame. Consider the photo released into the public domain.
I'll have to see if I can't just search by photo credit and see what
else might have found its way onto the Wikipedia!
