The megalithic Kempock Stone in Gourock, popularly known as "Granny Kempock", stands on a cliff behind the main shopping street, looking out over the Firth of Clyde to the w:Holy Loch. A flight of steps winds up from the street past the stone to Castle Mansions and St John's church, which form a landmark dominating Gourock.
