Goupitan Dam

Goupitan Dam is a large dam on the Wujiang River, a tributary of the Yangtze River in Guizhou Province Southwest of China.
It has 5 generators, each with generating capacity of 600 MW. The total generating capacity of the project is 3,000 MW.
Construction started on November 8 2003 and is expected to be completed in 2011.[1][2]
