Born and raised in Lowell, Massachusetts. Writing is probably my greatest and least used talent. Which is why i can appreciate Wikipedia. I think it is a great outlet for creative thoughts. Also, it is an invaluable tool for the sharing and searching of knowledge. Would hope to some day write a book worth reading. Don't care for the thought of money or fame. Just a sincere desire to share with the world what is the world.

Currently live on the outskirts of New Orleans, Louisiana in a large city of its own right call Metairie. I moved to New Orleans three weeks before the arrival of Hurricane Katrina. Thankfully, through the help of my church pastor, i was able to evacuate to the town of Woodworth, Louisiana. I had to stayed there for just over three weeks before i was able to resume my work installing fire sprinkler systems.

It hasn't been an easy time since returning to New Orleans. Probably made difficult by my falling away from time spent at church to time spent drinking. But i am more than happy to say that, due largely to self-depreciation, i have had a sudden turn around. I am now happily involved with an enormously helpful church called Celebration Church [1]. Celebration was up and running almost immediately after the storm. For reasons of pride, i had never brought my needs to the despite the fact that they help over 140,000 people with everyday needs such as clothing, groceries, medical and spiritual support.

And believe me, their assistance to the community was needed. I can remember only one grocery store out of perhaps 35 was open. Imagine going to the super-market to see the store employees struggling to keep the shelves stocked, behind 12 open check-out lines with ten customers each waiting to pay for their purchases. When 94% of the regions businesses were still closed, five weeks after Hurricane Katrina, Celebration Church was serving the need.
