[edit] Renaming

Technically this was not a nightclub. It was a communal facility of the Macedonian community that at the time of the fire was used as a nightclub for the organisation's youth. It might be worth considering a renaming of the article. The Swedish press refers to it as the discothèque fire. --rxnd ( t | | c ) 09:26, 11 December 2006 (UTC)

The National Fire Protection Association calls it "dance hall fire" [1]. Perhaps the article could be renamed Gothenburg dance hall fire. Entheta 13:52, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
Nightclub fire is not the correct term in my opinion, neither is dance hall fire. Of course it's know locally as just "the fire" but most correct term is probably Gothenburg discothèque fire. --Krm500 23:20, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
Gothenburg fire is not yet created, why not just move it to that? If its locally known as "the fire" than discotheque or nightclub isn't necessary in the title. Also, the source below has lots of info that should be added. Grk1011 (talk) 20:40, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
