Gothtronic, also known as Gothtronica, is a term that surfaced in the mid 2000s. It is used to describe a music genre that blends elements of goth rock and electronic music. The hybrid contains elements of Deathrock, EBM, Goth Rock, Industrial music & darkwave but constructed using electronic instrumentation. The term has been used to describe artists such as Clan of Xymox, Anders Manga, Ex-Voto, The Vanishing, Gary Numan, Collide, Bella Morte & Alien Sex Fiend.
