Gothamist

Gothamist.com is a blog based in New York City that focuses on news, events, food, and other local coverage. Gothamist is the flagship blog for GothamistLLC, a company that operates fifteen city-centric websites. Those sites include LAist, Bostonist, DCist, Chicagoist, SFist,Torontoist, and others.
Gothamist was founded in 2003 and is edited by Jen Chung, who also serves as Executive Editor of all Gothamist sites. Jake Dobkin is the publisher of Gothamist.
Gothamist has received a number of awards and commendations, including six Bloggies nominations. It was named a "Forbes Favorite",[1] and a BusinessWeek "Best of the Web".[2] In 2007, Gothamist was named blog of the year by Wired magazine and given a Wired Rave Award.[3]
