Bruce Wayne: Gothom City 1987 is the seventh full length solo album by acid rapper Esham, released in 1997 (see 1997 in music).
The promotion for this album when it was released was somewhat strange. For weeks before the album's release, anonymous street teamers plastered stickers up all over the nation, that simply said "Who is Bruce Wayne?" Well, when this album dropped, it became obvious: Bruce Wayne is Esham. The album was a new side of Esham, not previously seen before. Gone was the dark wicked shit replaced with hardcore, but more normal, street rap. Also, shortly before this album was released, Reel Life Productions basically went belly up and Esham formed a new label called Gothom, which would later merge with TVT and Overcore to form Gothom/Overcore and re-release most of Esham and Natas' albums. This album was the first ever released on Gothom.
