Gosfield School is an English co-educational independent school in Gosfield, in the Braintree district of Essex. It was founded in 1929.

[edit] Information

Gosfield School is now a charity, and is situated in a Victorian country house in a 100+ acres of parkland. The school is divided into the Senior School and Prep School. Class sizes are at a maximum of 20. The Senior and Primary Curriculum have their own Senior Teacher (Damian O'Connor and Keryn Matehaere, respectively).

All pupils belong to one of the three houses (Nevill, Tudor or Woodstock), but not all board. Boarders sleep in bedrooms rather than dormitories. There is also a flexibility in boarding, when a pupil may need to stay one night. Male and female pupils may stay in the evening to complete prep sessions and dine with the boarders. There are also buses that go to Chelmsford, Colchester, Sudbury and Kelvedon.
