Gosen (五泉市 Gosen-shi?) is a city located in Niigata, Japan.

As of 2005, the city has an estimated population of 56,965 and a density of 382.89 persons per km². The total area is 351.87 km².

The city was founded on November 3, 1954. On January 1, 2006 Gosen merged with former Muramatsu town.
