If you believe it is now in sufficient use, please take it to Wikipedia:Deletion review. Reposting the same material without indicating how things have changed can be deleted according to Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion (I believe it was criterion G4). [edit] Image Tagging for Image:Ipod ds.png

Thanks for uploading Image:Ipod ds.png. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] Note

Making redirects to Uncyclopedia is not done. In particular, making offensively-named articles which are redirects to offensive articles is not done. I blocked you, but then it was pointed out to me that these edits were done a month ago, so I've unblocked you.

Don't do it again. DS 16:38, 12 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] We can't link to YouTube videos.

I removed the link that you added to The Box (Orbital song). Per restrictions on linking, we can't link to sites that violate copyright. grendel|khan 20:20, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Re:Swearing

OK, sorry, Gorman, I just can't help myself when it comes to profanity. Let's just be cool, OK? I'm really sorry about messing up your page. Don't worry, I'll never do that again. Blake Gripling 01:34, 11 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:MOSA 2007 annual.gif)

Thanks for uploading Image:MOSA 2007 annual.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 13:29, 9 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:MOSA 2007 annual.gif

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:MOSA 2007 annual.gif. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Wizardman 19:24, 17 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] October 2007

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Talk:Bui Tuong Phong. Such unfounded speculation does not contribute to improving the article. Dicklyon 14:15, 17 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Notability of Helena Harris

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Helena Harris, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Helena Harris seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Helena Harris, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. [edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Soundofviolence.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Soundofviolence.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 08:05, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
