I *think* it means that people should not make articles opinion free when making them NPOV, i.e. its not okay to eliminate discussion of a controversy. It is a sound piece of advice in theory, as it keeps people from weakening articles to push an agenda, but I don't think I've ever seen it actually happen here. It happens a lot on wikipedia I guess. - 130.88.123.188 12:50, 30 September 2005 (UTC)
this is my interpertation of NPOV -- Wildkitten1205
I think the whole point of the NPOV (from my understanding of it anyway) was to provided a viewpoint in the article that was provide both sides of the debate to get heard in away that could be for what of a better term uncensored (within the rules of policies of wikipedia) there are a lot of checks and balances in wikipedia to stop weaking of articles (as Mrmiscellanious pointed out above) having said that there are so many editors within this community i am sure if there was a contravening edit (or as the case maybe hidden agendas pushed) i am sure the could would be able to fix up the offending article to make it more NPOV.. wildkitten-simsy 00:27, 22 October 2005 (UTC)
