[edit] Article not necessary

Since Gordon only appears in the first film, this article is not necessary and should be deleted. Any information given here is already given in the article for the film. Mcr29 03:13, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

Gordon's family isn't a relevant thing to the series (so far). This article should be deleted and the Lawrence Gordon one must be restored. Litox —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.74.165.8 (talk) 02:03, 26 November 2007 (UTC)

The Gordon family is significant through the first movie in the same sense that Rigg is important in the fourth, or the Reinharts in the third. It also separates itself from a merge with Adam Faulkner, who deserves his own page as he has more info given throughout the series. Jack Of Hearts | Miss A Turn 03:10, 26 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Well...

The other articles, Adam Faulkner, Detective Eric Matthews, Lynn Denlon, and Jeff Reinhart have been re-made. This is the only article that was re-made and re-merged. What's going on now? I know there was a vote to lose these articles, but since the rest have been brought back, should this as well? Jack Of Hearts | Miss A Turn 02:38, 3 April 2007 (UTC)

I personally think Dr. Gordon's article should stay. Although he is only in one Saw film (but parts of him and his name is mentioned in the other two) he still remains one of the "Main Saw Characters".

I second that too. They were together in one of Jigsaw's traps and the characters' stories are little alike but way different. Zenlax 12:07, 14 September 2007 (UTC)

I hope he's in Saw IV. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mechasam (talkcontribs) 01:41, 19 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Alive or Not?

Lawrence's status is currently tagged as "unknown", and I've changed this article to reflect that (it was formerly "deceased?"). I'll briefly go over facts pointing either way.

  • Lawrence left, promising to return with help, but never did. Either he did not get out alive or did get help, but the help arrived after Amanda had suffocated Adam, though this does not explain why the bodies were simply left there.
  • Jigsaw left shortly after Lawrence; seeing as Lawrence completed his test, it only makes sense that Jigsaw would help him.
  • Zep was seen coming in through a ladder; there is no way Lawrence could have climbed it sans his left foot. The bathroom was in the house of Saw II, correct? If so, he could have left through the house's front door.
  • Perhaps Lawrence was overtaken by Jigsaw (or Amanda) and was told that Adam was dead, therefore, he decided that sending help would be pointless. Then again, if there was a corpse chained in a bathroom somewhere, even if it was of a single guy, I'd send someone to get the body for a funeral, at least. And doesn't Adam have a family? ("Lawrence, I have a family, too; I don't see them anymore, that's my mistake!" Said when Lawrence shot him, right?)

Things seem dim for Lawrence, but there's no clear-cut proof, and it doesn't look like there ever will be. I propose that we keep status as "unknown" and go into these details on this article. Waluigi Freak 99 19:36, 10 November 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, if he did survive, I don't think he escaped. (I.E. Jigsaw probably kept him I.E. Matthews or some similar fate occurred.) Still, I suppose we'll never know.--CyberGhostface 21:09, 10 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Doctorgordonsaw.PNG

Image:Doctorgordonsaw.PNG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
