Talk:Gordon Splits

[edit] This article
Has virtually no justification for its existance - and should have been incorporated into the Gordon River article - for it to remain as a valid article - considerable material about the splits need to be added to justify it not being incorporated into the gordon river article - to consider the actual splits as being a major component of the larger world heritage is to seriously miss the point of what the larger conservation category is allocated. world heritage wild rivers national park - has many components 0f which the splits is one mere small part - it is sitting like a lame duck as it is as a stub and could seriously mislead. Please note that I will try to remove some of the categories - of which the article does not deserve in the larger picture - and will endevour to find suitable material to provide refs - in time SatuSuro 10:40, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
- I agree - this should be a section in Gordon River. The article seems to say that Gordon Splits has its own world heritage listing, rather than being part of the Tasmanian Wilderness area. Very notable omissions in the article are the location, and the origin of the name. --Ozhiker (talk) 10:59, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
- Have removed trace of that - and will try to expand the art - to give it a stay of merge - for a while first - SatuSuro 11:03, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Category removal
Franklin-Gordon Wild Rivers National Park is specifically the site that has the splits as a component - the cats that have been removed is simply allowing for the splits to be seen as a component - not a separate site SatuSuro 10:57, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
