Gorse Hill

Gorse hill is a part of Stretford within the Trafford area in Greater Manchester. It is a residential area with 2 minor industrial estates on either side of the main A56 Chester Rd, which devides the 2 halves of the ward. Gorse Hill Park is a park which is currently undergoing regeneration of its historic main gates and sits inbetween the two halves of the ward also, bridging Chester Rd and Talbot Rd. [1] Gorse hill is also the northern most ward for Trafford council and also is home to the Trafford Town Hall, housing the council offices. Gorse Hill shares a border with Old Trafford ward, both Manchester United FC and Lancashire County Cricket Club call this area home. [2]
