The Gorontalo language (also called Hulontalo) is spoken Indonesian Gorontalo area (Northern Sulawesi, southern coast of northern peninsula) by Gorontalo ethnic group. ISO 639-2 code of Gorontalo is gor (formerly also GRL[[2]]). There is no ISO 639-1 code for Gorontalo. Dialects of Gorontalo are East Gorontalo, Gorontalo Kota, Tilamuta, Suwawa, and West Gorontalo. There were 90.0000 speakers of Gorontalo in 1989[3].
