Gordon William "Doc" Roberts (1891-09-051966-09-01) was a Canadian professional ice hockey forward who played for the Montreal Wanderers, Vancouver Millionaires, and Seattle Metropolitans. He was a member of the Ottawa 1910 Stanley Cup championship team. He ended his career early to pursue his career as a doctor. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1971.

[edit] Playing career

Roberts turned professional with the Ottawa Senators in 1909–10, playing in CHA, NHA and Stanley Cup games. After the season, he moved to Montreal and joined the Wanderers. He played for the Wanders from 1910–11 through 1915–16. He then moved out west, playing for the Vancouver Millionaires in 1916–17, Seattle in 1917–18, and Vancouver again in 1919–20. He moved back to Ottawa, but chose to pursue his medical career and retired.
