From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Gordon Kenneth Rich-Phillips (born 8 July 1974) is an Australian politician representing the Liberal Party of Australia in the Victorian Legislative Council.
Rich-Phillips first entered the Legislative Council at the 1999 election narrowly defeating Carlos Baldovino of the Australian Labor Party in Eumemmerring Province.
After the Liberal Party's disastrous result in the 2002 election, Rich-Phillips was elevated to the shadow ministry. He currently serves as shadow finance minister.
After the reforms to introduce proportional representation into Legislative Council abolished his electorate, Rich-Phillips was preselected in the safe number one position in South Eastern Metropolitan Region for the Liberal Party at the forthcoming 2006 election.
