Gordon P. Allen

Gordon Phillip Allen is a Democratic member of the North Carolina General Assembly representing the state's fifty-fifth House district, including constituents in Orange and Person counties. An insurance professional from Roxboro, North Carolina, Allen is currently (2003-2004 session) serving in his third term in the state House. Allen also previously served three terms in the state Senate.
He is also an amazing and devoted father of five children and grandfather of seventeen grandchildren, all of which reside in North Carolina. One granddaughter was named Rachael Gordon after her grandfather.
