Gordon Kennedy (actor)

Gordon Kennedy is a Scottish actor (born 22 February 1958). Kennedy grew up in Tranent, East Lothian, and attended George Watson's College in Edinburgh.

He first rose to prominence in the sketch show Absolutely and presented the 'original' National Lottery show, alongside Anthea Turner. He has appeared in several dramas, including the role of Sergeant Bruce Hornsby in the BBC drama, Red Cap. He has also appeared in the BBC Scotland soap River City.

In 2006 he starred as Little John in the BBC production of Robin Hood. In 2007, he once again portrayed Little John in the 2nd series of Robin Hood. During the filming of the 2nd series, he pulled a ligament in his leg. When he was taken to hospital in Budapest he was in full costume (sans trousers) and was left to one side as the hospital staff thought he was a tramp.

Currently back in Budapest filming Series 3 of Robin Hood.
