Gordon J Brand (born 6 August 1955) is an English professional golfer.
Brand turned professional in 1976 and was a full member of the European Tour from 1977 to 1994. He made the top thirty on the Order of Merit a total of seven times. His highest ranking came in 1986 with a career best 5th, in which year he finished as runner-up to Greg Norman in The Open Championship at Turnberry. His low round of 68 gained him the Tooting Bec Cup for the lowest round by a British player. His sole European Tour victory was the 1989 Volvo Belgian Open, he also won several events in Africa. During 1987 he helped win the Alfred Dunhill Cup for England with team mates Nick Faldo and Howard Clark after beating Sam Torrance on the final day. He was a member of 1983 European Ryder Cup team.
After a successful golfing career, Brand went on to work for the European Tour as a tournament referee before quiting in 2005 to play on the European Seniors Tour. In 2006, during his first full season, he won his first senior tournament at the OKI Castellón Open de España Senior. He finished 4th on the 2006 Order of Merit
Gordon J Brand should not be confused with his Scottish contemporary Gordon Brand, Jnr.
