Gordie Johnson is a Canadian musician. He was born at St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He has been a vocalist and guitarist for the blues-rock bands Big Sugar[1] and Grady, where he now refers to himself as 'Grady' Johnson.
He has also produced albums for other artists, including The Trews, The Joel Plaskett Emergency, Wide Mouth Mason,Gov't Mule and Reel Big Fish.
Gordie Johnson while now living in Texas[2] has always been a proud Canadian and is true to his roots - which is evident in his Jimi Hendrix-ish version of Canada's National Anthem "O Canada" and frequent discussions/interviews over the years.[3]
