Gorana

Gorana is a small village in the Municipality of Bar in Montenegro. The village is located south from the city of Bar in the region of Mrkojevići. Gorana has a population of 523 as per the 2003 census.
Gorana is divided into two sections, Velja Gorana and Mala Gorana. Velja Gorana is mainly composed of the Nikezić, Metanović, and Kovačević families. Mala Gorana is mainly composed of the Šabović and Sulejmanović families. These are the main surnames of these villages.
Gorana is mostly rural farmland. It also has an elementary school.
