Article was nominated for GA back on June 16, 2006, under different criteria. I don't believe it meets the current GA criteria at this time. The lead is insufficient, does not summarize the article, there's no photo for the biography, no infobox at the top, some short sections (religion only contains a single sentence?), subsection headers are fairly long and not short and concise. Not to mention that there's now a slashdot article on this issue, so the article's stability could be an issue. I was kind of on the fence on speedily delisting, but I thought I'd nominate here first to gain consensus, since I haven't seen too much anonymous vandalism yet. But I think there could be some WP:NPOV issues. Dr. Cash (talk) 00:26, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
- Note some of the references are either broken and / or do not support the assertions they are against. I have removed two so far - not sure how many others there are. Both the two I removed were from Wolf Mountain Group and given that is Merkey's company not sure that they would have met WP:RS for the claims they were supporting anyway (even in the past). All references need to be checked that they are still live and that they support all the claims they are linked to. --Matilda talk 21:25, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
- Comment. The lead needs to mention the Wikipedia controversy, and stubby sections and short paragraphs should be expanded or merged. Addition of photos and a biobox would greatly enhance the article. Majoreditor (talk) 03:22, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
