[edit] Youtube link?

Anyone have the youtube link with "ryan" being escorted by police?

http://www.nbc.com/The_Office/video/#mea=252007 Disappointingly not on actual YouTube...they really missed on that...Josejuan05 (talk) 06:44, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Angela Pregnant?

I have herd the writers talk before (on episode commentary) about the possibility of having Angela be pregnant. I wouldn't be surprised if she ends up getting pregnant with Dwight's baby, even though they have noted before that Angela takes birth control...The would be the perfect time for it to happen.Weespo (talk) 16:09, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

You do realize that she's already had her baby, right? 75.185.161.15 (talk) 18:15, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
Weespo is talking about the character, not the actress. --DearPrudence (talk) 03:40, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Synopsis length

A synopsis section should be 10 words per minute of screen time, so this should be about 430 words. It's at 650 now. We don't need a play-by-play of every single joke. Slurms MacKenzie (talk) 16:57, 19 May 2008 (UTC)

  • OK, down to about 510. I don't know what else can be cut out, but if anyone can successfully abbreviate the prose, go for it. Slurms MacKenzie (talk) 17:05, 19 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Continuity

I submit that the Continuity section should just go, as there's been talk about making the page shorter and it kind of turned into a discussion anyway. Dunderball (talk) 15:56, 21 May 2008 (UTC)

I second that notion. It's a discussion that looks like it belongs here, not on the article. Both arguments make valid points, and since it's kind of trivial anyway, I would cut the whole thing. gaberholl 19:36, 21 May 2008 (German Time)

[edit] Items in Notes

I find it dificult to believe that Micheal was specifically referring to a band, simply making generic small talk.

Similarly, he makes no comment that could actually tie his 'anti-gravity potion' to Willy Wonka

Thirdly, Dwight and Angela have not had an extended affair. They had a relationship. This would be the first instance of someone walking in on an affair, or possibly more likely, a passionate fling. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Thegeniusboy05 (talk • contribs) 22:57, 21 May 2008 (UTC)

How about something like: "Phyllis' discovery of Dwight and Angela's affair makes her the fourth person to stumble upon their secret relationship, after Pam, Jim, and Ryan." Also, if we wanted to be really picky, we could switch Ryan and Jim because I think Ryan overheard their conversation in an episode before Jim saw them. Dunderball (talk) 15:55, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Ryan?

"She was written with Ryan in mind as The Office writers are fans of The Wire, a show previously mentioned on The Office." This should be clarified. Is this referring to Ryan Howard? I'd assume not. It's someone from the Wire, right? Enigma message 23:03, 21 May 2008 (UTC)

It's Amy Ryan, the actress who plays Holly, and since her name is in parentheses in the preceding sentence, I think it's clear enough. Dunderball (talk) 15:48, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

Now it's clear. ;) Before, the first sentence that mentions Amy Ryan wasn't there. Enigma message 15:58, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Michael oblivious?

"When coming back from the grocery store, Holly implies that she wants to go out to dinner with Michael, oblivious to it Michael recommends a nice place for her to go to, Kevin jumps in and says he's free to go, still thinking he's mentally challenged Holly agrees to take him."

I think it's pretty obvious that Michael knew what Holly wanted, but decided to pick Jan over Holly. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Koreankimchi (talkcontribs) 07:25, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

I'm actually not clear on this point. Enigma message 07:29, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
